  • Abstract
    A multi standard 1.25 to 14.025Gbit/s serial link transceiver in 32nm CMOSLP technology is presented. The receiver is based on adaptive 4 taps half rate DFE data recovery, and on an early-late digital clock recovery. The link equalization capability, including the 7 taps programmable transmitter FIR, recovers up to 22dB channel losses at Nyquist frequency. The stand alone transceiver measures 0.45mm × 1.3mm and consumes 220mA from 1V at 14.025Gbit/s.
