Abstract
This paper proposes a component-based modeling technique of Real-time Mnitoring and :Simulation System developed for Plastic Injection Molding Praicess, which consists of three functional modules: graphic simulation module, communication interface module and the module of process establishment and trouble-shooting analysis. Lking componentbased and object-oriented technology, the graphic simulation module is built; The lit structure is adopted to compress data and improve the response speed of the interface communication; The parameters of molding process are initialized by the´ casebased reasoning technology. Through monitoring and analyzing the molding process parameters, the equipment trouble and molding products quality on the basis of rule constraints, the developed system may find out the trouble-shooting and present the suggestion of revising the molding parameter. This model serves to enhance the progressive introduction of machine intelligence to the whole system, and therefore provides a platform for further research in terms of intelligent control of molding processes.
