Abstract
This paper studies the problem of stability analysis for continuous-time networked control systems (NCSs). In NCSs, time-delay terms are piecewise differentiable, and their derivatives are equal to 1 except at countable interrupted points. By taking into account this feature of time-delay terms, new stability condition for NCSs is derived in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The new proposed stability criterion is less conservative than the existing ones without considering this feature, and the computational complexity is also reduced. Numerical examples are given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods.
