Abstract
The problem of dimensioning UTRAN radio interface along with the cell radius coverage evaluation algorithm are two challenging tasks based on a process which is different from the classical planning process applied for 2nd generation systems. Iterative methods found in the literature show divergence risks which are often met in practice. In this paper, we introduce a new method so as to avoid all undesired situations.
