Abstract
The paper deals with the metrological characterization of a wireless smart measuring device for carrying out measurement of thrust, speed and mechanical power on linear induction motors. The measuring equipment is described presenting the major interesting solutions adopted for the realization of the prototype. The metrological characterization tests have shown good accuracy and low response time both in thrust and speed measurement. The paper is completed with experimental results obtained by applying the measuring device on an actual motor
