Abstract
This paper clarifies the high-frequency characteristics of parallel wires used for power transmission by means of experiments, tries to calculate their high-frequency impedance, shows techniques to theoretically calculate the frequency-impedance characteristics of parallel wires deeply related to the noise generation mechanism, by taking the frequency characteristics of the leakage conductance into account, and shows a method to estimate the noise waveforms generated on power transmission lines
