Abstract
It is shown that the response in relative charged terms of electrets subjected to gamma radiation from cobalt 60 is a function of the configuration (alone or with neighbor). Two geometrical configurations were studied, i.e., only one electret or four electrets glued on the back electrode of an electret chamber. The four-electret configurations has given for the response a more important gradient due to the adjacency effect than the one-electret configuration. This adjacency effect and the corresponding edge effect were used for xeroradiographic images
