  • Abstract
    It is said that replication of cultural relic is an important way to protect cultural relic in all ages, according to experts. And color recovery is the key point of costly and rare painting and calligraphy which are in severe danger. According to the characteristics of traditional Chinese painting´s pigments, this research used Visual C++ IDE and constructed a computer color recovery adjustment module for traditional Chinese painting, based on chromatics theory and computer digital image processing technology. For any designated color region of Chinese painting, the system can carry out tiny adjustment of color recovery. An automatic Chinese painting´s color recovery model is also constructed, based on the fact that the color frequently used in Chinese painting will become natural aging along with the time, paper materials and preserving condition. And color automatic recovery function of Chinese painting was realized. Furthermore, associated applications of digital restoration system and color management system are also discussed in this paper, and good color consistency result in digital restoration is achieved.
