Abstract
Learning from the issuing experiences of the international catastrophe bond market, this paper analyzes the existing obstacles we are facing. On the basis of current law, capital markets, we discusses three feasible issuing modules for the issurance of the catastrophe in China as follows: domestic (re)insurance company or government as sponsor to issue catastrophe bond based on foreign insurance company´s SPV; domestic finance institute and foreign reinsurance company as sponsors to establish the SPV and issue the catastrophe bond jointly.
