  • Abstract
    In this paper, a new deinterlacing algorithm which uses an adaptive bilateral filter with local intensity histogram screening and generalized fuzzy operation is proposed. Adaptive bilateral filter with local intensity histogram screening can effectively prevent producing noise magnification or over-sharpening artifacts. Generalized fuzzy operation can enhance image local contrast and prevent involving noise. Experimental results demonstrate the proposed algorithm outperforms the mostly popular algorithms.
