  • Abstract
    The reluctance network model of non-salient pole generator is presented, and the generator status differential equations are developed, whose parameters are stator winding branch current, stator reluctance, rotor reluctance, air-gap reluctance, rotor magnetomotive force. Its main advantages are to take into the rotor movement and saturation effects, with a good compromise between calculation time and accuracy of results. Then the rotor winding inter-turn short circuit fault is analyzed based on the model, the results show that even harmonic current will emerge in the stator winding parallel branches when the fault has happened. Finally, practically acquires data on the spot of SDF-9 type generator, the results of verification show that the theory analysis is right
