Abstract
The modeling, analysis and control of a high performance induction motor drive fed with a rectifier-inverter system having only six active switching devices and operating from a single-phase supply under carrier-based pulse-width modulation scheme is the theme of this paper. Experimental results showing the unity displacement power factor operation of the single-phase supply and the speed tracking capability of the motor are presented to validate the analysis and control strategy proposed
