Abstract
This paper presents a new test procedure for measuring the shielding effectiveness (SE) of small and medium-size enclosures against high-frequency fields and currents in the frequency range up to 1 GHz. For the measurements, the method of coupled transmission lines is used. The external circuit is a 50 Ohm transmission line consisting of a single cylindrical conductor fixed on the shield, while the internal transmission line is formed by a sense wire in the center of the enclosure and the inner shield wall. The voltage transfer function between the external and the internal transmission line provides an expression for the SE
