Abstract
The paper presents a distributed 3D device simulator running on network workstations interconnected via Ethernet. The simulator is based on parallel domain decomposition and the inter-process communication is accomplished using the MPI library. The implementation shows that a well designed distributed simulator can reduce the execution time up to an order of magnitude
