  • Abstract
We present a new self-consistent Maxwell-Schroedinger technique with the aim to analyze the electromagnetic field dynamics together with the quantum phenomena of carbon nanotubes. The Maxwell equations, discretized by the Transmission Line Method in a three-dimensional domain, are coupled to the Schroedinger equation and simultaneously solved. We study the dynamic of a wavepacket along a nanotube and present a detailed view of the near field.
