Abstract
The design of robust control for linear sampled-data systems with parametric uncertainty is considered. Emphasis is placed on linear dynamic output feedback controllers, and two problems are addressed. The first is robust stabilization while the second is H ∞ synthesis in which both robust stability and robust performance in an H ∞ sense must be achieved. A technique is proposed for designing stabilizing controllers for both problems by converting them into H ∞ synthesis for sampled-data systems without parameter uncertainties
