Abstract
Sentiment analysis has aroused the interest of many researchers in recent years, since subjective texts are useful for many applications. In particular, sentiment analysis on online reviews has become a hot research field. Studies on sentiment analysis mainly focus on framework and lexicon construction, feature extraction, and polarity determination. This paper presents a survey on the latest development in sentiment analysis, and makes an in-depth introduction of its research and application in business and Blogsphere. The methods used in current research are especially emphasized and the existing problems of those studies are discussed. Finally, some possible future directions of research are pointed out.
