Abstract
Uniform convergence results are presented for the solutions to a parametrized family of algebraic Riccati equations which arise in the context of control problems for systems described by partial differential equations with unbounded or point control problems. The problem studied here is motivated by recent developments in the theory of adaptive control for distributed parameter systems, where it is shown that the issue of uniform convergence of a family of Riccati operators is critical to this theory
