Abstract
The Power components of a switching Mode Power Supply are implemented using Hybrid technology. In a first chapter, this paper highlights the successful computer aided design of the snubber-less power switch, with notably modelization of the MOSFET (single chip or parallel configurations), taking into account the layout and the actual characteristics of the filter components. Dynamic and thermal behaviours are thus predicted before assembly, and verified; this technology gives interesting advantages, as the electromagnetic cleanliness despite fast commutations and perfect reproductibility of both the industrial process and general performances. In a second chapter, technological description and thermal measurements are given for information.
