Abstract
A technique is derived for a MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) plant which uses the SISO (single-input single-output) results to yield an upper bound for the MIMO minimal-order stabilizing compensator. First, the MIMO problem is set up. Some theorems which provide an upper bound for the minimal-order compensator are then presented. Finally, some examples show how this method can be used and where it fails
