Abstract
Slotted wearable PIFA antenna in the UHF band is proposed and analyzed. The interaction between antenna and human body through the slot in the ground plane is investigated in terms of equivalent scheme, and it was shown that the strongest radiation into the body occurs when patch is placed above the slot. The values of elements in equivalent electric scheme of the slot are calculated and verified by simulations.
