Abstract
A novel method for determining the complex dielectric constant of dielectric slab-coated conductors is described. The constant can be found by measuring an angle of maximum radiation and two radiation angles of half peak power from the leaky wave antenna. The method is especially useful for millimeter waves and can realize automatic measurement.<>
