After a brief history of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute´s (WPI) VLSI program, the author reviews lab equipment, staffing, lab organisation, course and lab manuals, VLSI tools, and chip fabrication. Descriptions are also given of the course schedule, the textbook, graduate course content, undergraduate projects, and graduate research projects
