  • Abstract
    Combining leading-edge fiber optic technology with today\´s shrinking defense budgets requires innovative solutions incorporating commerical off-the-shelf (COTS) technology. Successful military/aerospace programs include AWACS, in-flight entertainment (IFE), shipboard and fiber optic towed decoys (FOTD). Applications and "lessons learned" will be discussed.
