Abstract
The problem of vibration caused by frequent engine start-stop which improves fuel consumption is serious in hybrid electric vehicle (HEV). In the new HEV power train-electrical variable transmission, which based on dual mechanical port machine (DMPM), this problem is also severe. In this paper, a control method has been proposed to reduce vibration in the process of engine start-stop. This vibration reducing control method is to add the compensation torque on the torque reference of OM to eliminate rapid variation of IM torque. Experiment results showed that the control method reduces vibration significantly in the process of engine start, which improves the ride quality of HEV.
