  • Abstract
    Optoelectronic camera is used to record under specified illumination images of the dry line region on the wire of a paper machine. The image signals are transmitted to the computer for extraction and display of dry line data. The method has been implemented on industrial paper machines in two versions. The dry line data obtained are correlated with properties of the final product and can therefore be used for automatic control of the paper machine
