  • Abstract
In this paper, we propose the improved slip and slide simulator without mechanical friction. The developed simulator is configured by two induction motors which are directly coupled with each other. One motor is used to achieve role of traction motor of vehicle and another motor is used to simulate various driving characteristics of vehicle including adhesive characteristics, running resistance, gradient and change of weight. The driving characteristics of vehicle are simulated by software of controller. Thus, it is possible to change several driving characteristics during the test freely and instantly. To verify the usefulness of simulator, the characteristics of the simulator are investigated under the various adhesion conditions. Additionally the pattern control of conventional re-adhesion control is tested.
