Abstract
The paper presents reduced-complexity digital filter design method in GSM/CDMA wireless modules. Based on analysis of FRM and EIR utilizing PCA method, the authors give implements of low complexity filter for requirements of GSM/CDMA selected frequency module. It is demonstrated that hardware complexity reduced greatly. The method had been implemented by FPGA and passed hardware testing. The result shows that the system can satisfy desired requirements and select frequency as well as minimize system complexity.
