Abstract
Radar systems that utilize multiple phased arrays to obtain 360° coverage suffer from reduced sensitivity off-boresite from the phased array faces (aka ¿scan loss¿). Multiface radar processing is a MIMO radar technique that takes advantage of the overlapping coverage from adjacent phased array faces to provide up to 5 dB more sensitivity, compensating for the scan loss that would otherwise be incurred.
