Research on location of fresh milk collection station—Based on integer programming

Location is the core issue to construct a fresh milk collection station, which directly affects the benefits of both dairy processing enterprises and dairy farmers. This paper firstly defines the major elements concerning to the location of a fresh milk collection station, then picks up several locations by these elements from a bunch of candidates, and then uses a model set up by integer programming to find the best one. The paper also applies a real case to certify that this model can solve the location problem of a fresh milk collection station effectively.
