Abstract
In this paper, we propose an environment to support evaluation of network-aided emergency support systems. We provide an original language to describe the behavior of rescue teams, medical teams and sufferers in disaster areas. This language allows to describe reactive behavior in which actions are determined depending on their locations, surroundings and information received from emergency support systems via wireless networks. Also we provide a geographical model to represent aid stations, emergency evacuation areas and afflicted areas in disaster areas. We also provide a function to evaluate a real system running on mobile terminals by the real-time network emulation function of our MobiREAL simulator. Using these models and functions, we have conducted several simulation experiments, which have proved the capability of our proposed environment.
