Abstract
In high-speed DSP system, the source and load reflections depend on how well the output impedance and the load impedance are matched with the characteristic impedance, respectively. The reflected signal leads to ring, crosstalk and EMI thus degrade system performance and destroy the signal integrity. In the design process of high-speed data processing system based on TMS320DM642, the boundary condition of transmission line and the termipoint means to restrain signal reflection are discussed. The topology of data bus termipoint is analyzed. The simulation results of different termipoint methods are presented.
