Abstract
Research on remote sensing monitoring methods of crop planting area is always the hot topic, and theories and methods about single-crop rice emerge one after another. However, in terms of the practice, there are no fixed methods or schemes yet. This paper puts some methods of planting area extracting into practice, and compares their merits and faults in precision and efficiency. The result shows that, threshold of spectra is more effective for remote sensing monitoring of single-crop rice in Hubei Province.
