Abstract
Summary form only given. The physics of charged dust particles, which are ubiquitous in space, has attracted a great deal of interest in understanding electrostatic nonlinear wave structures in space environments. Nonlinear wave structures are amazing and beautiful manifestation of the nature. Solitons present characteristics of interaction between wave and plasmas among such structures. We have studied here multispecies dusty plasmas consisting of electrons, non-thermal ions and negative charged dust particles. Using reductive perturbation method, KP equation is derived in such plasma and soliton solution is investigated. It is observed that the nonthermal parameter has significant effect on the width and amplitude of the solitons. It is also observed that there is possibility of existence of both type of refractive and compressive solitons.
