  • Abstract
    Device to Device (D2D) has been intensively involved in several classic networks. For a cluster with certain amount of devices requesting for the same data packet from the base station, the complete downloading process is separated into two independent sections: dissemination from the base station and forwarding in the cluster. To achieve higher system efficiency, in this paper, a novel joint cooperative scheme for this kind of D2D communications is proposed which includes a) a 2-hop cooperative forwarding algorithm in the forwarding section, b) an asymmetric data partition scheme in the dissemination section. Simulation results show that, in the proposed scheme, a significant gain is achieved in terms of the resource utilization efficiency.
