Abstract
In this paper, we present the VMOTE-II health monitoring system that measures and monitors, records and reports the vital signs of a patient to health care providers and medical personnel using both with wireless and wired technologies. This system delivers real time medical data approximately 3 times per second using medical sensors integrated in a single wearable and portable unit that is self powered. This system is geared towards patients that require 24 hour monitoring and support. VMOTE-II is a non-invasive system that would allow a patient to continue normal day to day activities with minimal inconvenience whilst providing extensive medical and physiological data.
