Abstract
We address the problem of coordination among base stations in multicell environment. A distributed joint scheduling and beamforming techniques in multicell interference channel are proposed. The proposed techniques are based on utilizing second order statistics to detemine the optimal spatial direction that maximizes the signal towards the users in the cell while minimizing the interference created on out of cell users. Opportunistic scheduling is incorporated with the beamforming as it has the capability of reducing the interference as well as boosting the sum rate performance. An intensive simulations have been performed to test the validity of the proposed techniques compare them with the existing techniques.
