Abstract

With the rapid development of computer technology, the technologies of CSCW (Computer Supported Collaborative Work) are more and more used in web-based instructional systems to enhance the intelligence of system. Teachers Professional Development System is an online learning system to support the professional development of teachers. Teachers can join in the trainings under the direction of supervisors from different places and built a collaborative learning community. The paper describes the application of Agent, workflow, and collaborative control mechanism in the system, and shows how they support the trainings.
