Abstract
Based on Chapman function and Klobuchar ionosphere delay model, the simplified ionosphere model is given. The signal propagation trace in ionosphere was analyzed by the means of Fermat equation, and simulation using optic ray-traced method was presented with aim to achieve the range displacement of actual trace and total delay error of the satellite signal propagation. The ionosphere model in this paper provides more accurate positioning than Klobuchar model does for single-frequency receiver. It can direct the error correction of the satellite navigation receiver (especially for single frequency receiver) design.
