Abstract
In this paper, a second order analytical model of transmembrane potential (TMP) on the cells in suspensions exposed to microwaves in 100 MHz to 20 GHz frequency range, was derived. During the exposure of a microwave in this range, the conductivity of a cell membrane increase dramatically. So it has to be considered during the derivation of the TMP. The second order analytical model shows that the TMP on a cell in suspensions depends on the frequency and amplitude of the external field, cell arrangement, cell value fraction, conductivity of the cytoplasm, membrane and medium.
