Abstract
The by-products ferrous sulphate from titanium dioxide and waste sulfuric acid were used to prepare polyferric sulfate (PFS) through the direct oxidation method. The technical indicators of prepared PFS completely meet national standards when the temperature was 60°C, the strength of mixing was 120r/min, PH1.5-2.0, the ventilation was 2.0L/min. Using the prepared PFS and the purchased PFS to process two different dyeing wastewater, the results show that the prepared PFS is better than purchased PFS and it achieves the best removal efficiency when the amount of PFS is 2ml/L, PH7~9,the strength of mixing is 20~60r/min, settling time is 10~15min.
