Abstract
We use satellite altimetry as information source to establish a model of the mean sea level for its global coverage. In coastal, island and shallow water areas the accuracy cannot meet the requirement because of interference of reflected signal. Based on tidal and GPS data, we correct the mean sea level model built in Bohai coastal areas. The results show that the accuracy of the model can be significantly improved.
