Abstract
The goal of this paper is to introduce a heterogeneous semantic network that supports binary and quasi-binary relations. The method is worked out which allows replacing relations of any complexity and combinations of different kinds of binary relations with the single quasi-binary relation. This is obtained by introducing the technique of formation of plural entities from atomic ones. Creation of new nodes and relations in semantic networks is possible at design time and run time. When conjoining nodes, the topology of the network is being changed. This will simplify the knowledge representation and the procedure of inference. By means of a constructed network, it becomes possible to solve a large class of the problems that are not formalized within the framework of networks with constant topology.
