Abstract
Formal languages involve many concepts such as string, grammar and semantics which are able to be described by “Categories”. This paper provides two categories which are used for grammar and semantics in a context-free language, and the syntax analysis issue has been discussed in detail. This information may be useful for researcher concerning formalization methods.
