Abstract
In folksonomy, different users perform diverse tagging behaviors. Although many works have been reported on folksonomy based taxonomy construction, few attentions have been paid to the data preparation for the construction from the behavior perspective. To ensure constructing taxonomy with qualified folksonomy, a method is proposed in the paper to find representative tagging users, so called folksonomy experts, tending to perform representative tagging behaviors. The evaluation confirms that the proposed method is capable of finding folksonomy experts. The method proposed can be utilized to select qualified representative data for the existing folksonomy based taxonomy construction algorithms.
