  • Abstract
    Virtual multi-pyramid game is developed by using virtual reality technology based on the algorism of real multi-pyramid building box game. Three basic types as operating primitives in this game providing for users, such as three-ball, four-ball in L type and four-ball in U type. By using these three primitives, several plane geometries, such as triangle and parallelogram, and solid geometries, such as pyramid and corner-off tetrahedron, can be assembled. Virtual digital computer game of multi-pyramid proposed in this paper can be used as a media to learn mathematic-related topics, such as "construction of points, lines and faces," "construction of angles," "number series in the same difference or ratio," "construction of multi-faces," "simple faces and solids," and "object translation and rotation." It can benefit students\´ mathematic reasoning ability as well as logic thinking ability.
