  • Abstract
    MMSE-DFE (minimum mean square error-decision feedback equalization) is a sliding-window decision feedback equalization method. This paper first applies MMSE-DFE into joint detection algorithm for TDD-CDMA (time division duplex-code division multiple access). It has the low complexity compared with MMSE-BDFE (minimum mean square error-block decision feedback equalization) based joint detection. MMSE-IC (minimum mean square error-interference cancellation) is an efficient detection algorithm in V-BLAST. To adopt the advantages of MMSE-IC, we introduce the interference cancellation into the MMSE-DFE based joint detection. By the aid of interference cancellation, the performance of the MMSE-DFE based joint detection is improved. The experiments show that the performance of the proposed joint detection algorithm has the better performance than the conventional MMSE-BDFE based joint detection.
