Abstract
This paper proposes a new K/Ka-band Single-Pole Single-Throw (SPST) switch with an integrated bandpass filtering (BPF) function. The proposed BPF SPST switch is implemented by cascading series switches and a switch integrated BPF by using 0.18-μm BiCMOS technology. The SPST switch in its on-state shows the calculated insertion loss of 4.7 and 4.8 dB at 24.5 and 35 GHz, respectively, while the switch in its off-state shows isolation of 40.2 and 32.7 dB at 24.5 and 35 GHz, respectively. The simulated IP1dB reaches as high as 7.44 and 9.31 dBm at 24.5 and 35 GHz, respectively, when the switch is turned on.
