Abstract
In connecting a coupled-cavity circuit to a waveguide, it is often necessary to use transition cavities for broadband impedance matching. This paper describes numerical models to determine parameters of transition cavities. As an example of use of the proposed method, performance of a 35 GHz, 600 W coupled-cavity TWT (CCTWT) are compared with both computed and measured results.
