  • Abstract
    Simulation-based testability verification method of radar at present mainly uses PSPICE which is a general simulation software to simulate the faults. However, because of the limitation when the PSPICE simulates the radio frequency circuit and the unavoidability in analyzing the testability of radar, this paper reports a novel method which tests the testability using the radio frequency circuit simulation software ADS to improve the radar testability verification method. The testability verification method in radar radio frequency circuit combines the function of ADS to design the specific testing solution. The study discusses the fault models and the fault injection method in ADS combining the characteristic of the radiofrequency circuit with the function of ADS. Finally, the novel method is experimentally verified.
